Pension Application for Silas Anson

            On this 31st day of December 1853, before the subscriber a Commissioner of Deeds in aforesaid City personally appeared Jonathan Anson a resident of Irondequoit in said County aged 79 years, who being duly sworn saith that he is one of the children and heirs at Law of Silas Anson, deceased, who was a Revolutionary Soldier of the United States and who served in the Revolutionary War under Captain Jonathan Weller of the State of New York and served in said war for a long period but for what time deponent is unable to state.  That said Silas Anson resided in the County of Dutchess in the State of New York at the time of his said service.  The said Silas Anson died about the year 1825 or 1826 and his wife, the mother of this deponent died about the year 1834 but the precise time of their deaths deponent does not now recollect.
            Deponent makes this declaration to avail himself of f any provision of law granting said Silas Anson a pension or Bounty Land and which his heirs may avail themselves of.  (Signed) Jonathan Anson
