July 7, 1926, reply to request for information.
I have to advise you that from the papers in the Revolutionary War pension claim, R.702, it appears that John Beebe was born August 10, 1741, or August 11, 1739, place not stated.
While living at New Concord, Albany County, New York, he served some months in Captain Daniel Goodrich’s Company  Major Cady’s Regiment and was discharged June 7, 1776, and he also served in 1778 for a month at Cherry Valley.
He applied for pension August 10, 1832, while living at Austerlitz, Columbia County, New York but his claim was not allowed as he failed to furnish specific proof of six months military service as required by the pension laws.
That is no data on file as to family.
I used only what was on copy of discharge certificate and no other officers at all as he made such various & contradictory statements.  I could not find anything about him in Mass Archives or Capt. Daniel Goodrich either.
