                This is to Certify that Michl Mayers [Myers] had been employed with thirteen Men him included for to go to Skinectady with four boats to bring up—provisions for this Garrison, he and the Men being Six Day from this post, wherefore they are intitled to the Wages as battaux Men from the public as witness my Hand this 2d of Aprill 1779.
