  1. The men on this roll were enlisted for 5 months and were raised from the levies and militia.

      Stephen Burgess—Private—Captain Lathrop Allen’s Company
      Peter Vosburgh—Private—Captain Isaac Bogart’s Company
      John Wheeler—Private—Captain Walter Vrooman’s Company.
      These three men were all from Lieutenant-Colonel John Harper’s Regiment of New York state Levies.  Others from this regiment were in other companies of the Fourth NY Regiment.
